I became interested in animal photography as an adjuct to outdoor photography. But as my travels widened, particularly to locations in Costa Rica and Africa, I realized that they are the center of interest. This gallery, while initially small is growing as my travels widen. Some of the photos also appear in my regional galleries.
Animal photos require patience and careful watching of their behavior. Most important is timing and observation along with the right photographic equipment to do the job.
This gallery is in it's initial state and many more photos will be posted over the coming months.
