Tanzania - 2014
The trip for your bucket list! We'll aim for the Big 5 (Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Lion, Leopard, and Hippo) and the Big 10 (add Cheetah, Giraffe, Rhino, Wildebeest, and Warthog). On our last February trip we saw all of them.
This is a photo safari so bring your camera and binoculars. The landscape, animals and particularly birds are phenomenal in Tanzania. It is the one location in Africa where you can easily drive to see everything. Each day will be feature new vistas and animals. I will provide advice for those new to landscape, animal and bird photography. I will provide individual help with camera settings an use for those needing it. We will have informal sessions in the evening to share photos with a pc, projector, and screen. This really adds to the comraderie and fun of the trip. We will use the new Barry Walton Photo product - the SafariScreen2Go(TM) projection screen to allow photo review in the field for fun and learning. Visit www.SafariScreen2Go.com for details on this unique collapsible, ultralightweight projection screen.
